Plastics are used in almost every industry worldwide. At the same time, different industries place their own unique demands on materials. More than 800 employees work in this company, producing sheets, round rods and profiles from thermoplastics and thermosetting plastics, as well as machining parts according to customers' technical drawings. These finished parts are used in almost all areas of the capital goods industry.
These are your future tasks
We are seeking an agile leadership personality with analytical thinking and a strong ability to implement initiatives. Ideally, you have several years of experience in the B2B or capital goods sector, particularly in internal customer support and sales support. Your communication skills in both German and English are integral to your profile. You place a significant emphasis on quality, excel in structured and independent work, and possess strong organizational abilities. Your conceptual thinking enables you to continuously enhance the sales structure. A degree in a business-related field or an equivalent qualification complements your profile. Experience in leading sales departments or sales support teams, along with the ability to foster and motivate team members, is a crucial requirement for this position.
You have these competences
For the position, a sound commercial education, a strong technical understanding as well as experience in sales of industrial products and products requiring explanation would be an advantage. It would be nice if you had a good command of English and an affinity for IT. Basic knowledge of stamping technology and/or the plastics industry could also be beneficial. However, it is not an absolute necessity. You should be motivated, willing to perform and customer-oriented, have problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team, as well as assertiveness and negotiating skills. Efficient, independent and goal-oriented work organization is important. Your demeanor should be personable, confident and engaging. A high degree of willingness to travel is expected.
